This is NOT a generic gas-engine clutch! While this clutch physically looks identical to a standard gas UTV clutch (like those found on a Polaris), the internals are completely different. The Kubota D722 diesel engine in your UTV operates at lower RPMs but generates massive low-end torque. This clutch is pre-calibrated from the factory with the heavy 3-weight setup and a stiff engagement spring specifically designed for the low-RPM torque curve of a diesel engine. If you install a gas-calibrated clutch on your diesel machine, it will engage at the wrong RPM and burn up your drive belt instantly.

Replacing a primary clutch requires a specialized clutch puller tool (not included) to pop the old clutch off the tapered crankshaft. Never use a jaw-puller on an aluminum clutch! Inspect your drive belt during replacement; if the old clutch has burned or glazed the belt, install a fresh belt to ensure proper break-in of the new clutch sheaves.
