Keep your crew running. Fleet pack of 4 premium LiFePO4 batteries for Stellar CDTplus pistol grip remotes and Hetronic crane transmitters. Four high-capacity cells for $60 — that's $15 per battery, less than the price of 3 OEM singles. The CDTplus eats batteries if the crew leaves it on, and dead remotes mean a dead crane. Stock the truck with spares and never wait for a battery again. Free shipping.
The Stellar CDTplus remote control is a battery vampire. Crews leave it on after the job, the battery goes flat overnight, and the next morning the crane won't respond. Now the service truck is sitting on a job site with a perfectly good crane and a dead remote. The foreman calls the office: "we need batteries."
You call the Stellar dealer. A single OEM battery is $22–$28. The industrial-labeled version from the transmitter manufacturer is $80+ per cell. And you need at least two — one for the remote and one spare. For a fleet of 5 trucks, you're spending $200+ per year just keeping remotes alive.
We ship you a 4-pack of premium 3.2V LiFePO4 cells for $60 — that's $15 per battery. Put one in the remote and throw the other three in the glovebox. When the crew kills a battery (and they will), the spare is already on the truck. No downtime, no phone calls, no emergency orders.
This battery uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry at 3.2 volts. This is not the same as a standard 3.7V lithium-ion cell. The voltage distinction matters:
Do not substitute a standard 3.7V 26650 Li-Ion cell. It is the wrong chemistry. Our batteries are 3.2V LiFePO4 — the exact chemistry match for the Stellar and Hetronic charging systems.
⚠️ Verify your remote takes a 26650 cell at 3.2V LiFePO4 before ordering. Open the battery compartment and check the existing cell — it should be a 26650 cylindrical cell (slightly larger than an 18650). If your remote uses a different cell size or chemistry, this is not the correct battery.
Can I use a regular 3.7V 26650 battery instead?
No. The Stellar and Hetronic chargers are designed for 3.2V LiFePO4 chemistry. A 3.7V Li-Ion cell has a different voltage curve and a higher charge voltage (4.2V vs 3.65V). The LiFePO4 charger will overcharge a Li-Ion cell, causing it to overheat, swell, and potentially damage the remote or the charger. Always use 3.2V LiFePO4 cells in these transmitters.
How long does a battery last on a full charge?
With 3200mAh capacity, a fully charged cell will run the CDTplus remote through a full day of normal crane operation (8–10 hours of intermittent use). Heavy, continuous use may drain it faster. If the crew is using the crane all day, having a charged spare on the truck eliminates any risk of downtime.
Are these the same size as the OEM battery?
Yes. Both the OEM and these replacements are 26650 cylindrical cells — 26mm diameter × 65mm length. They drop directly into the CDTplus battery compartment with no modification.
What's the difference between 3200mAh and the OEM 3300mAh?
100mAh — about 3% difference. In real-world use, this is indistinguishable. Both will run the remote for a full day. The 100mAh difference might mean 10 minutes less run time at the very end of a full discharge cycle — you would never notice it in practice.
We run a fleet of 10+ trucks. Do you offer bulk pricing?
Contact us for fleet pricing on larger orders. At 10+ packs, we can work with you on volume discounts. Many fleet operators set up a quarterly order cycle — 10–15 packs per quarter to keep every truck stocked with spares.
